IS IT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Salon Melbourne is a trade only event and public are unable to attend. Business identification is required.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
There is no fee to visit, however it is a trade only event and ID is required.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Complete the online form with all your details and most importantly supply an accurate email address as your registration will be confirmed by email.
You must fax through your trade identification documentation once your registration online is complete to + 61 (0)2 9211 7472 with your name and salon name clearly outlined.
Please note: You must print your registration confirmation that is emailed to you as this will give you access to the Expo.
DO I NEED TRADE ID?
Trade ID is required to register for the Expo if it is your first visit. You must fax copies of your ID to +61 (0)2 9211 7472 or mail to PO Box K402 Haymarket NSW 1240. Please clearly underline or print your name and salon name on these documents. If you post your Trade ID please do not send the original copies as we will not be able to return them.
If you have attended in the last two years you may register without trade ID as you have already provided this previously.
STUDENTS
All students must register through their college prior to arriving at Salon Melbourne. Please refer to our student policy. Colleges click here to register all students at once.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY ENTRY BADGE?
You will receive your registration confirmation via email, which you need to print and bring along with you to gain entry into the Expo. The confirmation email will have a barcode on it that you need to scan at the scanning terminals in the foyer of the Exhibition Centre. This will then print out your badge that you are required to wear to get into the exhibition halls.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
It is strongly recommended that children do not attend the exhibition due to occupational health and safety reasons. However if you are unable to arrange suitable care for the child then you may bring the child and sign a disclaimer form agreeing to take full responsibility whilst the child is at the exhibition.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR GUEST?
Only salon Owners and Managers are allowed to bring one guest for a fee of $20 per day that can only be purchased on the day from the registration desk. All proceeds go to the Look Good, Feel Better charity.
Students are unable to bring guests under any circumstances.
WHO CAN ATTEND EXECUTIVE HOUR?
Salon Owners and Managers, and Exhibitors can attend Executive Hour. No registration is required other than the general Salon Melbourne registration, however proof of your position will be required if this is not already printed on your Entry Badge.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
The Melbourne Exhibition Centre has 1,060 undercover parking spaces, managed by Wilson Parking Entrance, off Normanby Road.
